Edmunds GovTech Launches Community Client Portal

Edmunds GovTech (EGT) is proud to announce the launch of their new client user portal named Community. More than 25,000 users across EGT’s product platforms will now have access to this new user portal that will enhance their experience with Edmunds’ software solutions. 

What is Community?  

Community is designed to connect users with Edmunds GovTech’s content library and promote open discussion amongst EGT’s vast user base. More than 250 pieces of content have been created for clients to access and discuss amongst their peers. This content consists of knowledge base articles, manuals, release guides, and technical documents. New content will be added to the portal regularly. This content library is housed by an easy to navigate landing page that helps point users in the right direction. 

The Community portal is not a replacement for EGT’s existing support efforts. Edmunds GovTech will continue to offer superior customer support across all existing channels along with the addition of Community.  

What tools does it have? 

The new portal allows Edmunds’ clients robust access to EGT’s online resources that let users search for helpful articles, knowledge base topics, release guides, and user-driven support forums. Embedded in the portal is a smart search feature that allows clients to quickly scan for the information for which they are searching. Once clients find the content they are looking for, they will be able to research, discuss, and provide answers to other Community users. There is even a leader board that recognizes Community’s top forum contributors. 

EGT staff will regularly monitor the platform to help ensure the content and topics being discussed are relevant and accurate. If clients are unable to find what they are searching for, EGT’s customer support team can be contacted directly through the Community portal. As you create a ticket/case from the portal, the system will automatically share helpful information with you as a suggestion.

What is the cost for clients?  

Community is complimentary and included in Edmunds GovTech’s annual support and maintenance agreement. EGT has been working hard to increase our content so that users may experience an elevated support experience with the ability to search user knowledge base articles, release guides, and user forums. 

How do clients get access to Community?  

Clients can register for Community by navigating to EGT’s support site and clicking login in the upper right hand corner: https://help.edmundsgovtech.com/

The support site provides a link to Community for current clients to login and register. Any documentation or resources emailed via our support team to EGT clients pertaining to the software products will point users to login and/or register in the portal.
