Project Manager
Position Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning and monitoring of our Implementation projects. This includes having resource/scheduling control of our project teams and being the primary contact for the customer throughout the Implementation. You will meet regularly with customers to provide project updates and status reports through completion of the implementation and hand off to our Customer Success Team. The Project Manager will report directly to the VP of Professional Services.
Expectations
Our Project Managers have the following responsibilities:
- Manage multiple ERP software implementations from initiation through completion
- Build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Drive project communication and act as the single point of contact for all internal and external project team members
- Conduct kick-off meetings and interviews with all project stakeholders to gather project requirements
- Work with Implementation Consultants and Subject Matter Experts to ensure optimal configuration for customer business processes
- Develop and manage the project plan to ensure proper resource allocation, schedules, client satisfaction, commitments and requirements are met
- Manage communication and resource plans for all internal and external project stakeholders
- Deliver regular clear and concise project status reports and meetings as required
- Identify project risks; assess and communicate any necessary changes to scope and/or timeline
- Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness to ensure project is on schedule and customer expectations are met
- Accountable for successful transition of new accounts to steady support status

Qualifications

Data Analyst
Position Description
This position is responsible for interacting directly with our clients to discover and extract data from their legacy systems using databases, database back-up files, application reporting tools, and other forms of data back-up file structures. This role is a fast-paced position that involves working on multiple client engagements at various points within the SDLC. Great communication skills, being detail oriented, and overall organization skills are a must. This position reports directly to the Director of Data Services.
Expectations
Our Data Analysts have the following responsibilities:
- extract data from multiple data sources in various formats.
- work with internal team members on mapping client’s legacy source data.
- validate that data conversions meet customer expectations and requirements.
- utilize a variety of tools and programs to facilitate the data extraction process.
- leverage technical platforms and SQL database scripts to develop data extraction methods.
- deliver high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
We find that our most impactful Data Analysts possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in professional services, client implementation, and/or data migrations.

Software Presentation Specialist
Description
Our EGT Software Presentation Specialists are known as our product experts and are the lead role in our product demonstration process. The primary focus of the Software Presentation Specialist is to share information about the ERP system developed by Edmunds GovTech with prospective customers. As an EGT Software Presentation Specialist, you will work with other team members and regional sales directors to understand prospective clients’ needs and prepare and present tailored product demonstrations.
Expectations
We will primarily rely on our Software Presentation Specialists to:
- Provide pre-sales technical & functional software demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Assist with pre-sales technical follow up throughout the sales process.
- Act as a product, industry, and subject matter expert for sales representatives and marketing content.
- Develop sales and marketing content – videos, webinars, blogs, and interviews.
- Maintain a working understanding of Edmunds’ market position and an advanced knowledge of the local governmental marketplace.
- Assist with proposal generation, RFP responses, sales and marketing tasks, and technical follow up.
Requirements
We will require that our EGT Software Presentation Specialists exhibit:

Location Preference

Customer Support Specialist
Description
Our EGT Customer Support Specialists are the people behind our software –the informed, friendly and supportive voice at the end of each support inquiry. They are the key ingredient in enabling our local government customers to maximize the impact of our software in service to their communities. With our internal training program and experience, they are the subject matter experts of our local government ERP software applications, and the guide to our customers’ experience with EGT.
No one is more proud than us of what our software can do to help local governments operate more efficiently, but what sets us even further apart is our team’s dedication and commitment to the customer experience. After a customer’s transition from our software implementation team, it is the Customer Support Specialist that most defines our relationship with our local government customers.
The Customer Support Specialist who dives head-first into our training programs and relationship building with our colleagues and supplements that EGT learning with additional industry materials to understand how local governments work (and specifically how enterprise resource planning software facilitates those operations) has no limit to their career path within EGT. Across each of our teams, leaders and managers, you will find people whose first experience with us was as a Customer Support Specialist.

Implementation Consultant
Description
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for executing several critical activities throughout our ERP software implementations including gathering business and workflow requirements, gap analysis, data conversion review, validation, training, and system configuration.
Expectations
We rely on our Implementation Consultant to maintain and grow our customer relationships through:
- Lead clients through successful implementation of EGT ERP & Finance Software Products
- Review and identify customer business process and workflow requirements
- Use subject matter expertise to consult clients on optimal use of our products for their business
- Educate and train users on software functionality, remote or onsite
- Work with client and QA analysts on data mapping documents while delivering high-quality customer service
- Validate data conversions are accurate and meet project scope requirements
- Provide instruction and guidance to clients for proper data review and validation
- May work with QA and Product Management teams to document and test product features and change requests
- Create training agendas, client specific process documentation, and other required project documents
- Ability to use technical tools such as MS SQL, My SQL, Adobe LiveCycle, Monarch to assist with various project tasks
- May create custom forms and reports for client specific needs
- Organize project documentation and keep internal project tracking systems up to date
