IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT - FINANCE & PAYROLL
Position Description
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for executing several critical activities throughout our ERP software implementations including gathering business and workflow requirements, gap analysis, data conversion review, validation, training, and system configuration. This position will be remote for the time being and will eventually report to our Northfield, NJ office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead clients through successful implementation of our Financial and Payroll related software products
- Review and identify customer business process and workflow requirements
- Use subject matter expertise to consult clients on optimal use of MCSJ products for their business
- Educate and train users on software functionality, remote or onsite
- Deliver a high-quality customer service experience
- Work with client and Data Analysts on data mapping documents
- Validate data conversions are accurate and meet project scope requirements
- Provide instruction and guidance to clients for proper data review and validation
- May work with QA and Product Management teams to document and test product features and change requests
- Create training agendas, client specific process documentation, and other required project documents
- Prompt and concise communication of all relevant project updates, changes, and issues to project management
- Ability to use technical tools such as MS SQL, My SQL, Adobe Livecycle, Monarch to assist with various project tasks
- May create custom forms and reports for client specific needs
- Organize project documentation and keep internal project tracking systems up to date
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, MIS or another relatable field required
- Strong accounting, auditing skills; government finance a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical ability to learn software systems
- Travel required – up to 50-60% (under normal circumstances)

Position Description
The Director of Project Management will direct our team of Project Managers and Coordinators as one of three functional leaders within our Professional Services department (alongside our Directors of Data Services and Implementations) and will report into our Vice President of Professional Services. Our Project Management function is responsible for the planning, monitoring and resource management of ERP software implementations for our local government customers. EGT Project Managers also serve as the primary points of contact for our customers from onboarding through project completion and transition to normal support. The Director of Project Management will drive the overall strategic planning of our ERP software implementations in order to meet customer demand and overall company objectives within our capacity. To succeed in this role, this candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership and the drive to achieve greater operational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities
We will primarily rely on our Director of Project Management to:
- mentor and develop our team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators;
- oversee resource assignment, sprint planning, goal attainment, capacity planning and contractual requirements for our portfolio of open ERP software implementations;
- ensure customer satisfaction is top focus for our Project Managers to achieve and maintain CSAT goals;
- improve discipline and uniformity across all areas of project management, including communication, planning and status reporting;
- aid in the development of staffing plans based on team capacity, utilization goals and customer demand;
- assist Project Managers with issue resolution and commit to expanding our lessons learned and risk mitigation plans;
- collaborate with other Professional Services and cross functional leaders and team members to drive organizational process improvement to further scale our operations; and
- lead internal project status meetings and report project health to our Executive Team and other departments as needed.

Expectations
We will primarily rely on our Project Manager to:
- Manage multiple ERP software implementations from initiation through completion.

They are the key ingredient in enabling our local government customers to maximize the impact of our software in service to their communities. With our internal training program and experience, they are the subject matter experts of our local government ERP software applications, and the guide to our customers’ experience with EGT.
No one is more proud than us of what our software can do to help local governments operate more efficiently, but what sets us even further apart is our team’s dedication and commitment to the customer experience. After a customer’s transition from our software implementation team, it is the Customer Support Specialist that most defines our relationship with our local government customers.
The Customer Support Specialist who dives head-first into our training programs and relationship building with our colleagues and supplements that EGT learning with additional industry materials to understand how local governments work (and specifically how enterprise resource planning software facilitates those operations) has no limit to their career path within EGT. Our EGT Product Team members are the business and subject matter experts of our local government ERP software applications, responsible for the integrity and usability of our products. Our Product Team members are measured by the functionality and successful use and satisfaction of our products at our customer sites. The excellence of these individuals is at the core of our value proposition to enable local governments to better serve their communities.
In addition to the responsibility to ensure that our products meet and anticipate the needs of our customers, our Product Team members also contribute to the marketability of our products. Their scope includes assessing the development of new products as well as the maintenance and enhancement of existing products.
Our Product Team serves as the product experts to our internal development, professional services, support, sales, and marketing teams, providing them with both troubleshooting and training needs. These regular interactions afford our Product Team members the opportunity to build expertise across the entire EGT ecosystem.
The Product Analyst role is a new addition to our Product Team.
Expectations
We will primarily rely on our Product Analyst to:
- provide product support for our internal Customer Support and Professional Services teams for our finance and payroll applications, which may include direct customer contact;
