Tech Services Engineer

Description

Tech Services is primarily responsible for providing technical support and escalation of our ERP software suite for both external and internal clients, as well as coordinating installs, migrations, and updates of our various software products. This role reports to the Tech Services Team Lead.

This role is located in Northfield, NJ

$50,000 – $60,000 (Employer est) 

Expectations

We rely on our Tech Services Engineer to:

  • Provide technical support to clients by diagnosing problems and identifying resolutions while delivering the highest-levels of customer satisfaction
  • Perform server migrations, new sever installations, and assist with code updates as needed
  • Diagnose connection problems and performance issues
  • Collaborate with team members and other subject matter experts to develop knowledge and industry best practices
  • Support Customer Support Specialists when information is needed from AWS hosted servers
  • Identify processes improvements that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Work with client/in-house IT to identify complex network issues and recommend potential solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, manage client expectations, and follow-up with clients in a timely manner
  • Create and produce support content such as knowledge base articles and FAQ’s to help both support personnel and end users interact properly with hardware and software

Requirements

  • Are able to think logically with strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess strong customer service focus and superior phone etiquette
  • Maintain excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to customers
  • Can to manage several competing priorities
  • Are quality focused

Qualifications

We find that many of our most impactful Tech Services Engineers possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or relevant experience)
  • Database experience (mySql, MS SQL Server) a plus

Data Analyst

Position Description

This position is responsible for interacting directly with our clients to discover, acquire, and extract data from their legacy software systems using a wide range of technologies such as SQL, Python, and reporting systems. This role is a fast-paced position that involves working on multiple client engagements at various points within the SDLC. Great communication skills, being detail oriented, and overall organization skills are a must.

$60,000 – $75,000 (Employer est) 

Expectations

Our Data Analysts have the following responsibilities:

  • Work on a team of developers, analysts, and consultants focused on data acquisition and migration.
  • Perform data acquisition techniques for gathering system requirements.
  • Extract data from a wide variety of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured formats.
  • Assist in the development of process automations using scripting languages such as Python and bash.
  • Leverage technical platforms and SQL database scripts to develop data extraction methods.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

We find that our most impactful Data Analysts possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, accounting, finance or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in professional services, client implementation, and/or data migrations.
  • Experience with Database Management Systems (MSSQL, Oracle, AS400, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, bash, PowerShell is a plus.
  • Knowledge of generalized business practices, accounting, finance, and payroll is a plus.

Customer Support Specialist

Description

The Customer Support Specialist is the heartbeat of our organization. They provide exceptional customer support in a professional and positive manner while speaking to customer s via telephone or by email. Our Support Specialists are the subject matter experts of our local government ERP software applications.

$48,000-$62,000 (Employer est)

Expectations

We rely on our Customer Support Specialists to maintain and grow our customer relationships through:

  • Aides in identifying a customer issue and provides a solution.
  • Creates a detailed record of client interactions.
  • Maintains a current case load and does regular follow ups with customers.
  • Ability to accurately report software issues to the Development team.
  • Conducts remote training sessions with customers.
  • Creates documentation in an effort to aid customers within software.
  • Collaborates with teammates and other outside departments across our organization to enhance software knowledge.
