New Jersey’s Third Largest City Selects Edmunds As Their New Software Provider

Paterson, NJ, announced Edmunds GovTech as their new software provider! This decision was made with careful consideration after various discussions regarding their current software’s inabilities and continual requests for an online bill payment option.

Paterson, also known as ‘Silk City’ and the county seat of Passaic County, has a population of over 148,500 people making them the third-most populous city in NJ. “People have been asking for [online bill payment] for many, many years,” said Deputy Tax Collector, Jennean Jordan-Gadsden. “It has taken some time, but the time has come,” added Mayor, Andre Sayegh.

Additionally, Finance Director, Marge Cherone explained that although one of their primary reasons for choosing Edmunds was the ability to accept online payments, the software will also help manage their finance, purchasing, payroll, and human resources.

Paterson now joins over 1,700 other local government agencies who have selected Edmunds as their software solutions provider.
