Edmunds GovTech Announces Acquisition of Logics

Edmunds GovTech, Technology Leader for Local Governments, Acquires Logics Solutions, LLC of Raleigh, North Carolina

Edmunds GovTech, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions to local government, has acquired Logics Solutions, LLC (“Logics”). Logics, founded in 1983, is a top and highly regarded provider of software in the local government ERP market. The Logics leadership team will remain, continuing to run operations from the Raleigh, NC office.

“Today is an exciting day for both Logics and Edmunds as like-minded and like-missioned businesses officially join forces. Bringing together the experience, talent, and passion of our teams will drive us to achieve even greater excellence while taking our customer’s experience to new heights. It is extremely important to me, a must-have, that any partnership requires a culture, value system, and customer-first mindset consistent with ours. We have found this with Logics, and I am extremely happy to welcome both the employees and customers of Logics to the Edmunds’ family,” commented Owner and Executive Chairman, Bob Edmunds. With the Logics transaction, Edmunds will expand their leadership role to nearly 2,000 local governments in the eastern US.

Ben Vanzutphen, Logics CEO since 2001, added, “Over the last five years I’ve had many calls regarding selling Logics and always responded that the company is not for sale. Recently, after some reflection on the future, considering I’m 76 years old, I began a discussion with Edmunds as I felt they were the best fit. I know them as a company that understands our business, would give our employees the best opportunity to grow, and give our customers additional benefits in good products and services to enhance our offerings. I’m confident that our combined teams will provide an even higher level of customer and employee success!”
