Edmunds GovTech to Present the 2026 Guts & Glory 5k
Northfield, NJ – Edmunds GovTech (EGT) is excited to announce the 2026 Guts & Glory 5k Run/Walk, scheduled for Sunday, August 9th, 2026, in Ocean City, NJ. This marks EGT’s 30th consecutive year as the primary sponsor of this charitable event.
This year’s home base is Emil Palmer Park, located at 15th & Simpson Ave. The park is one block north of the Aquatic & Fitness Center, where the event was held previously.
The Guts & Glory 5k is a charity fundraiser organized in collaboration with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCF). All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the CCF. Last year, the event raised over $380,000 thanks to hundreds of enthusiastic participants.
EGT employees will once again volunteer to help oversee the event this year.
“Three decades of the Guts & Glory 5k charity event are a testament to the generosity of our participants, volunteers, and the broader community,” said Bob Edmunds, Race Chairman and CEO of Edmunds GovTech. “As we approach $5 million raised since the event began, the work we support through the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) feels more important than ever. We can’t wait to see everyone in Ocean City.”
EGT aims to significantly enhance its contributions this year to further increase awareness and support for those affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. The funds raised will continue to provide critical services and resources to individuals and families in need.
